Lahiani Dan Robert

born in Paris, is an Israeli-French artist working with films and performance. His works are movement centered and revolve around questions of home, healing, spoken language and identity.
Practicing Qi Gong and Tai Chi, he initiates a new dancing language, putting his body in movements, and questions the process of creating an image, and its relevance within his personal quest for connection, home and healing.
Through poetic filming, writing and dancing interventions, Dan Robert attempts to embody his experience of the world with compassion and playfulness.
Dan Robert graduated from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design (Israel, B.F.A, 2017), holds a Master of Civil Engineering (France, Mines de Nancy, 2011) and worked in his studio at the Art Cube Artists’ Studios in Jerusalem between 2018 and 2023.
Dan Robert’s works and performances, have been shown in solo shows, group exhibitions in galleries, museums, and renowned festivals in Israel and overseas.
