Boulanger Pierre

lives and works in Quebec City. Trained in filmmaking in Russia and then in crafts and visual arts in Canada, he employs multiple skills to create works that oscillate between objects, sculptures, sound art, kinetic works and installations.
Winner of the Emerging Crafts Prize at the Prix d’excellence des arts et de la culture in 2019 and the 2023 Avatar Prize for audio and electronic art, recipient of research grants from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada and the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Société et culture, he is currently pursuing a master's degree in visual arts.
